There's a reason CEOs spend hundreds of thousands on personal security systems and bill it to the company as a cost of business, even as they're bringing it down.
Then there's the case of the UC Regents, raising pay over Jerry Brown's protests

Not to mention the Alameda Country executive given $640 k +. (Alameda, where Oakland and Berkeley live.)

This happens while cities goes bankrupt and the state unemployment rate is the nation's second highest. It's amazing how irresponsible these California "liberals" can be. (To be fair, Gavin Newsome also protested the University Chancellor's 11.4% pay hike. as did one other UC regent.)
