What Would Financial Armageddon Have Looked LIke? Or Do They Just Arbrtrarily Throw in Lines Like This in NYT Articles

Would good tax policy lead to the second coming? It is a little bizarre to read in a news story that the first time buyers tax credit: "may have helped avert financial Armageddon." Yeah, right, what is this supposed to mean, that the reporter liked it?

News story should report on news. They can include opinions from observers. It should not include bizarre speculation with nothing to support it.

No, no, no. Now look here, anyone who writes a book called False Profits should know better than to mock the False Prophet of Armageddon, the Antichrist, who will be known by the Mark of the Beast during the second coming. It's all part of literal translations of the Bible:

"And ye shall know the Beast by his forehead stamped 'SS' for 'Supply Side', which will lure in vast numbers of sinners thinking it means 'Social Security' instead of tax reductions to stimulate demand."
