Make Wall Street Pay! Taking on Corporate Power

State and national officials are attempting to balance budgets on the backs of working people. CEPR Co-Director Dean Baker took part in a panel discussion on how to hold Wall Street and corporations accountable. Other participants included Amanda Devecka‐Rinear of the National People’s Action; Stephen Lerner of the Service Employees International Union; Joe Jurczak of National Nurses United; Justin Flores of the Farm Labor Organizing Committee, AFL‐CIO; and Elce Redmond of the South Austin Coalition & Chicago Jobs with Justice. The discussion was part of a larger conference being held by Jobs with Justice, taking place Aug. 5-7.
