Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid have been staples of American life for many decades but now their futures are threatened. As part of the 2012 Annual Conference of the American Society on Aging, taking place March 28 through April 1, this panel addressed the challenges these programs face, and explored the issue of whether there will be enough wealth in the American economy to support these programs.
