Soon we'll have to scrap the whole wage system . It doesn't work in as part of a system. When we look at the present "system" it fails because the money with out drastic government intervention all gravitates to a few. About %5 end up with most if not all the money. The government in this depression is not able to tax those who have most of the money to make it circulate Also government intervention with the military to provide jobs has been an other tool to circulate money and keep men off the street. How ever the government is floating major loans to keep the military in the money. If we want peace then we have to abandon the war economy that we have. It will kill us even if we do not go to war. We must return to hand agriculture. It is twice as productive as industrial agriculture with almost 0 pollution. It would absorb a major amount of workers and create an actual culture on the land.

Well, it's nice to know all of those white republicans are going to punish the Ds for failing to improve the lot of black teen employment....

On a more serious note, what's REALLY going to be interesting is when the Rs clean up in Nov. and their economic 'policies' result in the double dip. Cry the beloved country. - Jeffrey Edelman
