			<description>I remember welfare &quot;reform&quot; and the programs promoting marriage.  Every so often the press would interview one of the couples in the program.  I would think, Young woman!  It's bad enough that you got involved with this cretin.  It's even worse that you had a kid with him.  Please god, please god, don't compound your error by marrying him.

What the marriage programs failed to realize was that young women often had very good reasons for not marrying the fathers of their children. - PeonInChief</description>
