			<description>We've been seeing the successful anti-welfare strategies increasingly applied to disability aid. 
It actually has nothing to do with disability per se, and everything to do with the continued upward redistribution of wealth.  In a country where people have justified turning their backs on the neediest (while continuing to give truckloads of taxpayer dollars to the rich), it's a short step to turning their backs on the disabled, elderly, anyone who is unable to provide for themselves. 
It wouldn't be unprecedented in modern times, as Nazi Germany embraced the same social philosophy: Those who aren't gainfully employed are vermin. - D.H. Fabian</description>
