Americans are less likely to be covered by health insurance today than just 5 years ago.  While the decrease began during the economic contraction of the late 1990's, new research by CEPR indicates that the trend continues during the recovery.  Cutbacks in employer-provided health insurance have disproportionately affected coverage for children, young adults, low-wage workers and Latinos.
