Experts and Staff

Lisa Burnam is the Director of Social and Digital Media. She manages CEPR’s social media presence and develops visual content for its channels. Before joining, Lisa led a team of visual strategists as the Director of Design at Center for American Progress Action Fund. Her background is in digital storytelling and advocacy. She earned a B.S. from the University of Maryland Global Campus in Graphic Communications. For over a decade, Lisa has been involved in independent grassroots activism, supporting a range of local efforts focused on worker cooperative development, dismantling the school to prison pipeline, increasing access to STEM programs in under-resourced communities, and climate justice. She is also a very proud gamer mom.
